What we provide

A free browser extension that displays an estimated dislike count on YouTube videos, and this website, which documents it. The service is provided as it is, and may change or be discontinued at any time.

Your licence to use it

You may install and use the extension for personal, non-commercial purposes at no cost. You may not resell it, republish it under another name, or distribute modified copies as if they were the original.

No affiliation with YouTube or Google

This is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Google LLC or YouTube in any way. YouTube and Google are trademarks of Google LLC, used here only to describe what the extension is compatible with.

Accuracy of the numbers

The dislike counts are estimates built from a public archive and from votes cast by extension users. They are not YouTube's private figures and may differ from them. Do not rely on them as a source of truth for reporting, research, business decisions or any claim about a creator.

Acceptable use

When using the extension or this website you agree not to:

• Attack, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the servers behind the service.
• Automate or falsify votes in order to distort the counts shown to other people.
• Use the service to harass a creator, or to present the estimated numbers as official YouTube data.

Third-party services and advertising

This website shows advertising supplied by Google AdSense and may link to third-party sites. We do not control the content of those ads or sites and are not responsible for them.

Availability and changes

The service depends on YouTube's page structure, which changes without notice, and on servers that occasionally need maintenance. Interruptions and temporary failures are expected, and no uptime is guaranteed. These terms may be updated; the date at the top of the page shows when.
